Galleria Cerri Arte
With the realization of Fonte Etrusca I found a new seat as well as a different capacity for the Galleria Cerri Arte, operating from 2000, which has today melted perfectly into the spirit of the place and besides the commercial office within the residence of art it hosts exhibitions of contemporary art. It has thus become a place in which to meet art, welcome and stimulate it with a singular mixture by kneading the sincere Bolognese land with the ancient identity of the Etruscan land from its point of origin and arrival.
The Gallery was born as a collection point for Bolognese art and specializing in it historic masters, today it concentrates for the major part of its activity in the promotion of works by Maestro Claudio Nicoli , taking care of his exhibitions in Italy and overseas, following the collecting and the purchase, as wells as the important artistic-cultural exchange, which at this particular historic moment is lively and rich in the Italian and overseas art fairs. And where each year the Gallery also presents new exhibitors of contemporary representation; the free forms and colours typical of the informal-landscape expression that marries with the continued search for work with a strong and sincere identity. The Galleria Cerri Arte thus rests anchored to its origin with a new matured force and in the service of an “art” that communicates emotion.
For some years a new permanent seat has been at Montepulciano, an important Tuscan artistic-cultural centre frequented by an international public attentive and sensible to art. The new environments collected from small Galleries have become a point to meet for the collection of works, mainly sculpture of importance.
